The North American Spinal Cord Injury Consortium (NASCIC) will host the first Externally-Led Patient-Focused Drug Development (EL-PFDD) meeting for spinal cord injury (SCI), co-hosted by Ian Burkhart, a C5 tetraplegic advocate and former NASCIC President.
Purpose: To give people living with SCI and their care partners a direct platform to share lived experiences with FDA staff and drug developers, influencing how clinical trials are designed and which outcomes are prioritized.
